Books In The Spotlight Author Promo Campaign
Books in the Spotlight is a promotional campaign designed to promote the authors who use Studio 3B candles to promote their books.
Here's How it Works:
1. You contact Candle Artist Jfay and discuss the design ideas for your candle.
2. You need to purchase at least one candle in the size you are wanting for work to begin on your design. There are no fees for custom designs unless it is necessary to purchase a cutout for an image. Those normally range between $3.00 -$11.00 + shipping fees. Candles are priced by size as follows:
3X4 pillar - $13.00 ea
3X6 pillar - $17.00 ea
4X4 pillar - $18.50 ea
3X8 pillar - $20.00 ea
3X9 pillar - $25.00 ea
Every candle is handmade and highly scented with the scent of your choice from our Scent List. If you are wanting a scent that is not listed, we can see if our supplier carries that scent - extra fees may apply. The above candle prices are the norm, but if your design requires a great amount of detail, extra fees may apply.
3. Once your candle has been made and meets your approval, the promotions begin! Pictures of your candle will be taken, and we request that you email us a picture of your book along with a written description. When everything is ready for posting, your candle will be shipped to you.
4. You of course may purchase as many candles as you need to take with you to signings, conventions, etc. If you are running an online campaign, you can purchase the candle and send us the winner's name and shipping info and the candle will be sent directly to your winner. You may send us promotional material such has business cards, postcards, bookmarks, pens, etc. to be enclosed with your candle.
5. You can also offer your candle for sale to your fans directly from your page without having to purchase the candles up front. You can post the candle on your site and we will send you the html coding for a paypal button. The candle price will be increased by $2.00 from our regular price so that you can earn commission from each candle sold. Commission to be paid on or before the 10th of the month ~ or can be accrued and used to purchase merchandise.
6. A page will be set up on Studio 3B's website just for your candle and book. Your book and your candle will be presented on "Books In The Spotlight" on myspace**. You will also have a link in Studio3B's Literary Library, and be promoted here on Studio 3B's Books in the Spotlight page. (**Myspace promotions will be rotated to allow for new author candles. The Books in the Spotlight promo on the Studio 3B website will remain.)
7. There is no fee charged for this promotion, but we do request a recipricol link from your site to the Books in the Spotlight website page or myspace profile.
We've been asked about discounts for large orders ~ Orders of 20+ candles will receive a 10% discount.
Note From Jfay: Please keep in mind that I specialize in creating "artistic" candles, I am not a printer that can duplicate your logo. I can attempt to create an artistic version of the look of your logo. All designs are made of wax and I do some handpainted accents, but if you are wanting a printed advertisement, you may need to look elsewhere.
